For my birthday in November 2021 I invited the community to help me fundraise $500 to create a HELLA famous Community First scholarship at San Jose City College. We raised $1000. While I was unable to establish the scholarship at SJCC, a scholarship was created and recently awarded. Meet Jahkim Steward the first student to receive a HELLA famous Community First scholarship.

 

My name is Jahkim Steward, I am based in  East Palo Alto, and a proud graduate of Menlo Atherton Highschool, and in fall of 2022 an incoming freshman at Jesse H. Jones School Of Business located in Houston,Texas with a concentration in business management and marketing. A few of my hobbies include social media strategy, ecommerce, and consumer relations. When I am not analyzing companies' brands colors or their social media engagement, I like to channel my creativity in graphic design.
